3 Year Volunteer for a Youth Alernatives Program for truant and/or disengaged youngsters. Classes taken consist of a life-long (military and private sector leadership and management) experience committed to proper listening, to knowing when to lead and when to follow. In the Department of Defense there is such an award as the SASMOY award, extended to only the thirteen best of all Sailors, Airmen, Soldiers and Marines Of the Year. In 1992 I was one of them selected to represent my organization.
